These links are waiting for you...and they're still hot.

It's a glittering extravaganza out there. Here's what's happening:

In other news, I realized that yesterday's post was my 400th. Yowza! Just thinking about it makes me exhausted. And in six weeks from yesterday, I'll be starting culinary school. And in four weeks from tomorrow, I'll be on the SLJ Day of Dialog panel. All I need now is to get appointed to an awards committee and my life would officially be my bizarro life.

Eat, drink, and just go with the flow.

By "hooking you up," I assume you mean "demanding that you bake these for me soon," right?

Hi Kristin!!! *waves back* I'll do my very best to get there! Which reminds me...I'm assuming I'll get to see the HMH people at BEA...which will give me a good opp to HOUND THEM INCESSANTLY for an ARC of Fire. I'll be obnoxious...in a sweet and charming way, of course. LOL! 8-)

Josh, I don't makes demands. I make suggestions and, if people take me up on them...well, then, that's swell. Besides, you didn't even make me the Salted Chocolate Cranberry Cookies...Ellen made them for me. Stop making me go elsewhere for baked goods - it's kinda like I'm cheating on you.

Laura, ahem, I just dropped a small email to the publicity department at Penguin (not HMH! My editor moved; I moved with her), so watch your mailbox. This reminds me, actually, that I've wondered if I should stop commenting on your blog, because I didn't want you to feel like you couldn't slam me in a review just because you know I'm reading! :o) So I'll just say that I hope you feel free to be brutal about my books, and if you notice a plain-old "Kristin" commenting in future, it might be me trying to be more anonymous.

Thanks for the shout out, Laura! And congratulations on your 400th post.

Are you on the Kidlitosphere listserv? It's a great place to find out what's going on. Go to Yahoo Groups and search for Kidlitosphere.

Kristin, don't you dare think about not stopping by! I'd miss you terribly! And I can assure you that I review every book honestly...even yours.

And did you work your magic or what?! I got an email today from the Penguin folks, offering to send an ARC of Fire! Wow! You - and they - move fast! I feel so powerful! But I promise to wield it only for good...
